2023-2024 Meal Plan Options

The options are endless when it comes to meal plans! Clarkies have access to five different dining destinations on campus. Meal Plans are available to all Clark U students on and off-campus. 

Log in to ClarkYOU and click "housing and dining self-service" to add or change a meal plan. Students can add meal plans anytime during the semester.  If you would like to talk to someone about any changes in your meal plan or to add a meal plan, contact residential life and housing 508-793-7453 or send an email to reslife@clarku.edu. 

Resident Meal Plans

Resident Meal Plans are are required for all students living in a traditional or suite style room. 

The All Access, 15, 12 and 10 Meal Plan, have an upgrade option called a Plus Plan. The Plus Plan upgrade provides for an additional Meal SWAP after 9:00PM at the Bistro. This late night SWAP is available 7 days every week, and $25 additional Dining Dollars.

Students on this plan may swipe into the Dining Hall unlimited times per week or once per meal period in the retail locations (Bistro or Hawk's Nest). Once you swipe in a retail location you cannot then swipe in the dining hall in the same meal period. In addition, they will have $50 Dining Dollars per semester for use at the Bistro, The Den, or Cougar Cafe and 5 guest meals per semester.
 
Upgrade to Plus Plan!
  • All Access Plus Plan + $75 Dining Dollars…$2,840 per semester.
  • The Plus Plan upgrade provides one additional late-night Bistro SWAP after 9:00PM, 7 days every week, and $25 additional Dining Dollars.
Students on this plan may swipe into the Dining Hall up to 15 times per week. Once you swipe in a retail location you cannot then swipe in the dining hall in the same meal period. In addition, they will have $160 Dining Dollars per semester for use at the Bistro, The Den, or Cougar Cafe and 5 guest meals per semester.
 
Upgrade to Plus Plan!
  • 15 Plus Plan + $185 Dining Dollars ......$2,840 per semester
  • The Plus Plan upgrade provides one additional late-night Bistro SWAP after 9:00PM, 7 days every week, and $25 additional Dining Dollars.

Students on this plan may swipe into the Dining Hall up to 12 times per week. Once you swipe in a retail location you cannot then swipe in the dining hall in the same meal period. In addition, they will have $210 Dining Dollars per semester for use at the Bistro, The Den, or Cougar Cafe and 5 guest meals per semester.

Upgrade to Plus Plan!

  • 12 Plus Plan + $235 Dining Dollars ......$2,840 per semester
  • The Plus Plan upgrade provides one additional late-night Bistro SWAP after 9:00PM, 7 days every week, and $25 additional Dining Dollars.

Students on this plan may swipe into the Dining Hall up to 10 times per week. Once you swipe in a retail location you cannot then swipe in the dining hall in the same meal period. In addition, they will have $290 Dining Dollars per semester for use at the Bistro, The Den, or Cougar Cafe and 5 guest meals per semester.

Upgrade to Plus Plan!

  • 10 Plus Plan + $315 Dining Dollars ......$2,840 per semester
  • The Plus Plan upgrade provides one additional late-night Bistro SWAP after 9:00PM, 7 days every week, and $25 additional Dining Dollars.

100 Meal Block+550 Dining Dollars......$1,882 per semester

Students on this plan may swipe into the Dining Hall up to 100 times per semester. Once you swipe in a retail location you cannot then swipe in the Dining Hall in the same dining period. In addition, they will have $550 Dining Dollars for use at The Bistro, The Den and Cougar Cafe. This plan is only available to students not required to be on a meal plan.

5 Meals Per Week + $200 Dining Dollars......$1,224 per semester

Students on this plan may swipe into the Dining Hall up to 5 times per week. Once you swipe in a retail location you cannot then swipe in the Dining Hall in the same dining period. In addition, they will have $200 Dining Dollars for use at The Bistro, The Den and Cougar Cafe. This plan is only available to students not required to be on a meal plan.

  • 10 Meals at Higgins Cafe(breakfast,lunch or dinner)
  • Savings of $7.95 off regular lunch door rate
  • Take out option available on purchase of a Green2Go container priced at $5.00.

    Graduate|Faculty and Staff Meal Plans must be purchased online.

Please note with inflation at an all-time high we have had to adjust our door rates this year. We have meal plans for Faculty and Staff as well that are a great value. Please consider purchasing one we'd love to see you!

The above prices are for students. Faculty, staff, and other visitors will be charged the above rate plus tax.

Bistro “Swaps” are designed to be meal options for students on-the-go and to provide opportunities for students to enjoy meals in the Bistro as part of their dining plan. Swaps are chosen from a select menu in the Bistro and are deducted from students’ weekly Higgins Café Meals. Students may swap up to one meal per meal period until 9 p.m. daily. Once you swap in the retail you cannot swap in the same meal period in the dining hall. Swap plus items are higher cost items that you can get with a swap plus it will deduct $2.29 dining dollars or real dollars and comes with two sides

The meal periods for swipes and swaps are, during the week, breakfast 7am to 11am, lunch 11am to 4pm, dinner 4pm to 9pm, and late night 9pm to midnight, and on weekends, brunch 8am to 4pm, dinner 4pm to 9pm, and late night 9pm to midnight. Students cannot swap at the Bistro and swipe into Higgins in the same meal period, even those on the all access plans. During the week, breakfast is served in Higgins from 7am to 11am, lunch 11am to 2:30pm, and dinner 5pm to 8pm, and on weekends, brunch from 8:30am to 2:30pm and dinner 5pm to 8pm. During the week, breakfast is served in the Bistro from 8am to 10:30am, lunch from 11am to 4pm, dinner from 4pm to 9pm, and late night from 9pm to midnight. On the weekends, lunch is served in the Bistro from 11am to 4pm, dinner from 4pm to 9pm, and late night from 9pm to midnight.

Please note that exceptions to Clark’s meal plan requirements are rare and limited to specific circumstances, such as a student who requires a medically prescribed diet that cannot be provided by Dining Services, or a student who is studying abroad. Students who have dietary or allergy concerns are encouraged to contact Clark Dining Services denis.gagne@sodexo.com for assistance on meeting their needs prior to beginning the exception process; non-medical dietary concerns and preferences are not sufficient reasons for exceptions. Clark Dining Services is proud to accommodate the majority of food allergies and dietary preference.
